#fitforfifty 08/02/14 A desert!!

Another busy day. Aren’t they all I hear you say. It was house work, house work and then we did some more house work. But shouldn’t complain it was great to be able to do it.
I was eager to make sure that today wasn’t going to be day number 3 in a row without any exercise.
It clashed with the Ireland V Wales match but we got it done.
Started of with a 30 minute circuit training session out in the shed. The punch bag, sit-ups, mountain climbs, squats and the new toy! the tyre and sledge hammer. I’m telling you after a half an hour at those bad boys you know what it’s like to have a sweat going on.
Then it was up on the thread mill to do a 6kms jog as I listened to the match on the radio.

Tonight I decided to splash out and do a healthy potato gratin with dinner and to finish things off an apple crumble. Sharon has been hanging for something sweet all week and in fairness we both have been doing very well.
After all the preparation and cooking we only had he smallest of portions. Some of the neighbours are getting apple crumble next week like it or not.

All in all happy with today.
One issue though. We had our breakfast about 11am and didn’t have anything then until dinner at about 7:30pm. We were busy and stuff and time slipped us by. Need to tighten up on this.
